Obituaries

We have collected over 2,400 obituaries of residents, dating from 1889-2021 (as of 19 Jan). The obituaries come mostly from newspapers or our local funeral home. Some have been pulled from Find-A-Grave or Ancestry.

Along with the obituaries we have tried to link birth date and location, death date and location, parents and spouses and marriage dates. Not all our entries have these details.

Below are links to an alphabetized lists of Obituaries we have gathered. They are listed by Last Name at time of death and include the date of death (DOD). Due to the volume, Maiden names are listed but not cross-referenced.

Obituaries have been scanned for digital storage and transmission. Additionally, we have a binder at the Museum if you would like to view them. If you would like a digital copy of an obituary sent via email, please request through our Contact Page.
